Return Policy

What type of return policy is offered with the system? Is there a warranty included or is that extra.

@natashiajohnson033 You can return product within 60 days of purchase. Call or chat with support. Warranty....its changed a few times over the past 13 years so I will defer to a community admin, but if you do have the 29.99 plan (again, who knows what's it is called as of now) all hardware is covered as long as you have the plan and don't cancel it...for life. Only exclusion are those devices with a technical limited life (think smoke and CO sensors).

SS support is open every day, 8PM to midnight

Captain11 is right, our return window is 60 days from when the products are received, if purchased on SimpliSafe.com or through a SimpliSafe representative. You can read more about the return policy on our Help Center.

For the warranty, all products come with a standard 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. For Fast Protect™ customers, there is a limited lifetime warranty for the duration of your uninterrupted subscription. If you have a Standard Monitoring Plan or Camera-Only plan, there's a 2 year extension on top of the 1 year warranty - resulting in a 3 year warranty for products.
