Alarm Certificate

How do I download an alarm certificate for my insurance company?  I would expect an alarm company would make this easy to find but I've looked everywhere to no avail.  Please help or my insurance rates will go up.

When logged into your account, on the left hand sidebar of your dashboard, under Settings, click the Monitoring link. This will bring you to a page where there is a big blue header section - to the far right of that blue section is a black button to "download certificate", click on it, it will bring up a prompt to open or download to your pc (it's a pdf file) - choose the option you want, to view it or save to your pc.

Open SimpliSafe web app at SimpliSafe. Com. Log on. It should show your system. Click on the pancake menu upper left corner of page. Click on monitoring. On monitoring page click on alarm certificate upper right dark icon. Download the certificate. On phones it gets downloaded to the files app. On computers it probably goes to downloads. That’s it print it up. All of the above does not work on the SimpliSafe phone app. Make sure you access your account on pc or phone web browser! Good luck 😎

Is this certificate available in the UK? I have the Premium Pro subscription and monitoring is enabled, but there is no link in the blue bar on the monitoring page to download anything...

You can download a monitoring certificate by logging into your SimpliSafe account using the web app. You can find instructions on how to do so here in our Help Center

I have followed the instructions on how to download a monitoring certificate.  I have not gotten to a page that has monitoring on it or a pancake menu.  I log into Dashboard  and the only choices I have to click on are Activate a new a system,  activate monitoring, Shop Simplisafe, and View account.  I am sure it was activated because I got the notification that it would be inactive for 3 days and the follow up one at the end of the three days. If I click on view my account, it comes up with my login info, 2 step verification, Billing, etc but nothing to click on to find the certificate to download.  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or how to have the certificate emailed to me instead. Or even why the only info available to me online is the login in

@jvanderl​ Just to confirm, are you logging into the web app using the same email address associated with your account? That may be why the option is not available. 

But if you are using your account's email, please reach out to our Support team for further help. They will be able to email your monitoring certificate to you, and take a deeper look into your account to see what could be causing this problem in the web app.
