Alarm remotely disarmed, but not by me

I have been getting message from the app telling me that my alarm has been remotely disarmed but I have never done that.  The latest one was this morning at 6:14am.  I had already disarmed it through the keypad at 6:00am.  At the same time I got the message, all of my cameras opened up and started recording.

I have to say that it doesn’t give me a warm, fuzzy, safe feeling to know that my alarm can be disarmed without my knowing it. I did check arming automations and I have none.  In the app, the message is: System Disarmed Simplisafe App.

And ideas on how I might fix this?  After all of the money I’ve sunk into the system, I would hate to move on but I have to admit that the remote disarming has me a bit freaked out.

@usmaak Just so we're clear, the times you have received these notifications that your system was remotely disarmed, your system was actually already disarmed in Off Mode?

There are some instances where the Base Station re-sends its current state to our service to check in, which is causing it to repeat its armed state. For example, this may happen if you entered your Keypad's menu but did not manually exit it. After some time the Keypad will go back to its screen where it displays the mode your system is armed in and repeat its state. And if your system was already disarmed, this repeat disarmed message would prompt your cameras to wake up and record again.

Our engineering team is currently working on a solution to this so your system does not re-announce its current state whenever it checks in. But in the interim, we have found that a Base Station replacement can help prevent this from continuously happening. If you contact our Support team, they can assist you with that.

@simplisafe_admin Yes.  Every time this has happened, the alarm has already been disarmed.  It just happened about fifteen minutes ago and it has been 14 hours since I last disarmed the alarm or touched the keypad.

Hey @stich001000 is there any possibility you had a scheduled arming/disarming schedule set?

I was  just notified that my alarm was desarmed by remote today Sep 4, 2025 at 2:20. It ahead been off since 5:47am. It is the first time, is there anything that needs to be done to prevent it to happen again?

My alarm has been off since 5:47am (with the keypad ) today and I received a message that it was disarmed by remote at 2:20 pm. I saw the blue light turn off just before the message. How can this be prevented? Or what could be the reason?

I also got a notice that my system was disarmed by remote today even though it was already disarmed. No one with access to disarm it did it.

My system just remotely disarmed itself this morning. Alarm hadn’t been used for 24 hours. What is going on?  Should I worry about security?
