Hi, a door sensor that has worked fine for a few years is now showing open when it's not. When I open and close the door the light on it blinks like normally. I also removed the sensor and re-added it. it showed closed until I opened it.

@eamail2001 If your system shows an incorrect open status for the Entry Sensor, it could be due to one of these three things: Both pieces of the sensor are more than 1.5 inches apart The Entry Sensor is placed on a metal surface The Base Station is

We've been a long time customer (since 2014) and have had very little problems with the system. Support has always been very helpful for these 11 past years and there has been little issues with the system. Looking forward to another 11.
