Bug: Can’t Snooze Motion Alerts on Apple Watch

I’m unable to snooze motion alerts on the outdoor camera for 30 or 60 minutes by tapping the option on Apple Watch. I still receive constant alerts, which is annoying when I’m doing things like playing with the kids in the backyard.

Hi @hogwartsbattle,

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SimpliSafe app on your Apple Watch? That should help to resolve this.

I have the same issue. I will try the suggestion and report back.

I tried the suggestion and it didn’t work. Should I reinstall the iPhone App? I’m on the latest iOS and Simplisafe app.

@perezpj32 Do you only notice this issue with your Apple Watch? Or are you unable to snooze your cameras' notifications using your iPhone as well?

Hello, it seems to be only with my Apple Watch. If I snooze from my iPhone, then I don’t get notifications on my watch but the snooze from the watch doesn’t work.

Hi @perezpj32 and @kennybryant,

One more question for you two. If you restart your Apple Watch, does that allow you to enable Snooze Notifications?

No, tried that too.

I don't know if my first comment was taken. It let me type a comment but then said I needed to sign in first. I did that then my comment disappeared. Sorry if it appears twice.

Turning on snooze doesn't work from my apple watch.

I've tried several times and it's ignored. I didn't know, until I read it above, that you can use the snooze feature from the iPhone by long pressing on a notification. I don't have my phone with me while I'm working in the yard.

I was contacted directly by customer support and they had me pull some logs from the app. The information has been passed on to the engineers. Hopefully the issue will be resolved in the next app update.
