How to Update Your SimpliSafe® Account's Time Zone

When setting up your SimpliSafe® account during initial install, you are prompted to select the time zone for your system. If you ever move to a location that is in a different time zone and take your system with you, you will need to adjust the time zone in your account to match your new location.
The steps to adjust your time zone vary depending on the SimpliSafe® monitoring plan you are subscribed to.
If you are subscribed to Pro Plus, Pro, Core, or Standard
If you are subscribed to the residential or business Pro Plus, Pro, Core, or Standard monitoring plans, you can update your account’s time zone using the SimpliSafe® Online Account.
Head over to the SimpliSafe® Online Account using your computer
Select Monitoring from the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
Under Monitored Address, scroll down to Time Zone and then select your time zone from the drop down menu
Click Save to save your selection
If you are subscribed to Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings or are unmonitored
If you are subscribed to Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings or are unmonitored, you can adjust your time zone in the SimpliSafe® Mobile App.
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your smartphone or tablet
Select Location Settings
Choose Location Information
Select your time zone from the drop down menu
Tap Save in the upper right corner to save your selection
