Cameras keep dropping connection

Every camera I install drops its connection after a short time, usually within a minute. I moved them around, reinstalled a few times, moved the base station, checked my internet speed, rebooted everything, and ultimately spent an hour on the phone with SS Support, who finally said they'd send me a new camera (which I think will be useless - I couldn't have three bad cameras). They even confirmed that my internet connection is fine.

What should I try next?

@gcp in Seattle did you run the connection check tool in the app? Did support ask you if you ran it, and if so, what did it tell you? If you are not clear on what the connection check tool is, and what it tells you, then you need to call support back and get another agent.

If this is the case, please poet your outcome here.  I have 3 Simplicams and they work fine. And yes, I agree with you, doubtful you had 3 bad cameras.

Hi gcp in Seattle,

Do you happen to have a mesh WiFi network? Recent updates have improved compatibility on that type of network, but hasn't resolved all issues. In the past, we have suggested that you set up a guest network that only your SimpliSafe components would connect to, and that might help.

I installed my cam and it keeps disconnecting from my wi-fi. the signal strength in the room is high as I have a booster in the same room. When checking the signal via Simplisafe it sometimes shows a good signal but often only one bar on the "return" signal. What can I do? I need this cam working so I can monitor my invalid wife in another room.
