Delete Old Account

Please provide the option to delete an old/inactive account from the web portal.

@rickmcraig At this time, there is no way to completely delete an old location from your account. But as a workaround, you can hide it by taking the following steps:

  1. Log into the SimpliSafe Online Account using the browser of your choice
  2. Navigate to Menu > Manage Account
  3. Under Protected Location, select the checkbox next to the location that you would wish to hide

Understood. However, you have to repeat the process every time cookies are deleted from your browser.Requesting feature be added which allows permanent removal of orphaned accounts/locations.

Exactly. "At this time" is not an acceptable response, especially for a basic tech function like this. It's just lazy obstinance on the part of the company.

Can't delete a location?  Really?!  Had an issue with Best Buy when I bought a 7 piece kit.  Started but couldn't finish setting it up, so had to return it.  Now I'm stuck with a phantom location that is a total nuisance and makes me question whether Simplisafe is a tech company or just another monthly fee annuity sponge.
