What Happens if I End My Monthly Plan

If I stop my monthly plan is my entire security system then inactive or will parts of the system still work normally and others will stop working?

Hi @westcoastjoepa, 

If you downgrade to our free Basic App Control plan, your system will not be inactive. Your sensors will still trigger an alarm if they are tripped, and you will still be alerted to the alarm via a push notification. The only difference is that our monitoring center will not contact you about the alarm, and 24/7 emergency dispatch is not included.

Also, if you have cameras on your system, you will still be notified when they detect motion and you can view a live stream through them, but they will not film any recordings.

Your “Free” Basic App Control plan isn’t free anymore. Shame on you. Fleeced me into paying for the equipment thinking I didn’t need any monitoring subscription plan to still able to SEE out the cameras I paid for.

Hey @Sebastienapaul​ apologies for what sounds like a very confusing interaction. Here is a list of all our monitoring plans including "Basic App Control" listed as "Unmonitored" and what you will and won't have access to. 

As you will see "Live video feed of your cameras from the SimpliSafe® App" is still available.

System becomes unusable camera especially that I paid for upfront then slowly the base unit starts to degrade with 3 am power alarms.
