@n10sely2000 Take a battery out, put back in and see if connects; move keypad closer to the base, search in the help center call support. There are many details you have left out of your post llike distance between base and keypad, is the base on the floor, near an electrical source etc etc.
Please post your outcome here after you troubleshoot and or call support. Thanks, good luck and welcome to the community!
@captain11 Thanks for your response! I had spoken with a tech and he told me to take out the battery and hit the reset button. It works great now! Thank you for your help!
@n10sely2000 Thanks but it sounds like you already made the right move and called support. Enjoy your new system and recommend you become active in the community. A bunch of really nice people and most ready to assist anyway they can.
Everyone - I could not get the keypad to connect to base stn and tried removing batteries etc to no avail. I called support and here is what they had me do:
remove one battery from key pad
remove cable from base station
unscrew base station and take off bottom cover (leave batteries in)
locate tiny white button above batteries in base station bottom
THEN
put the single battery back into keypad with other three batteries
when keypad says it is searching for base station you immediately press the little white button in the base station
Everyone - I got a new keypad and it would not connect even though I did all the troubleshooting here and in Reddit. I called and this is what they had me do:
remove one battery from keypad
1- unplug cable from base station
2- unscrew bottom of base station and locate tiny white button above batteries (don’t remove base stn batteries)
3- put battery back into keypad
4- when keypad says it is searching for base station IMMEDIATELY press the small white button on the base station
@n10sely2000 The community is usually not monitored on weekends. Best to puck up the phone and call support. Also, try taking the batteries out of the keypad, put them back in and try again.
