If I have not signed up for monitoring how do I know when alarm triggered. Can I monitor outdoor camera remotely ie. When not at home?

Some customers may choose to forego a monitoring plan and simply keep track of their system, and home, themselves. You still can access basic features without a plan - though you will need an internet connection to access these features.
We recommend that you at least test out our Core (formerly Fast Protect™) or Standard Monitoring Plans - free for one month! These provide the most security for your home and help you get the most out of your SimpliSafe® system.
If you choose to forego a monitoring plan, you will still have access to:
Live video feed of your cameras from the SimpliSafe® App
Remotely arm/disarm your system with the SimpliSafe® App
Please note that without a professionally monitored plan, you will not have access to:
24/7 Emergency Dispatch (Police, Fire, Medical)
Built-in cellular connection for backup coverage in the event of a power outage
Unlimited camera recording and evidence capture, with the ability to download video recordings from the app to your phone
Receive discounts for homeowner’s insurance
Subscription lifetime warranty
