SimpliSafe Doorbell

I have a Simplisafe doorbell.... it worked great initially. Now the doorbell won't ring. The camera is good, the alert on the app is good... the problem is that when the button is pushed, it no longer makes a sound in the house.

Any suggestions?

I'm having this issue, too, I think my old doorbell is not compatible with the actually Simplisafe doorbell!

I am not sure how the SS doorbell camera works, but the other door bell cameras like Nest, Ring require a doorbell transformer between 16 - 24 VAC with VA of 30. My house is 20 years old, so I checked my door bell and while it was at16VAC it was only10 VA. Door bell Transformers are inexpensive, and easy to replace providing you are able to find it. I was lucky mine was next to my water heater. Hope this helps.
