@mforsman94 You posted that you replaced your power supply; was that with another SimpliSafe power supply that came with your base? If not, I would call support and get a replacement to keep it all original. That said, is the base plugged into a power strip? If so, try and plug it directly into a wall outlet, less the power strip or extension cord. You can also try a hard boot on the base (Search in the support area for directions if you need it. Finally, all else fails, call for support.

if you get a chance, post your outcome here if you get a chance.

@mforsman94 We are echoing Captain11 here - is the Base Station still plugged into a replacement power cord from us? If it is, try plugging the Base Station into a different outlet to see if this behavior continues. We do not recommend plugging the Base Station into an outlet that is controlled by a switch, as that may impact its power supply if it is ever turned off in error.

@mrjagrock it is possible that the power adapter itself has a short and would need to be replaced under warranty. With this being a vital part of the system it would be able to be expedited out to you if they find that's the root issue. Please send us a chat or give us a call ASAP so we may assist.

@stimpson52 What do you mean by the Base Station comes on and then goes off? Do you keep getting notifications that there is a power outage, similar as the OP?

If so, I recommend checking that the power cable is plugged into the Base Station all the way as a first step. You'll know it's completely plugged in when the cable is flush to the Base Station.

If the power cable is completely plugged into the Base Station, I recommend plugging it into a different outlet next—making sure that the outlet is not controlled by a switch.

But if after completing the steps above you continue running into this, it could be due to an issue with the Base Station's power cable. In that case, please reach out to our Support team so they can assist you further.
