Magnet question

Anyone know how to separate the magnet from the backing plate? Does it just slide forwards to release? Thank you.

It's admittedly not super easy - the mounting bracket for the magnet holds on pretty tight. But yes, you can slide the magnet up, then off. Here's a diagram to determine which way you should be pushing:

Does SimpliSafe offer a low profile or embedded magnet option by chance?  I find the need in a new house for a 1/8" tall magnet to be surface mounted, or it could be drilled into the door frame instead.

@kevinjohns​ We do offer a Slim Magnet for the Entry Sensor that is thinner than the magnet that the sensor is shipped with. If you reach out to our Support team, they can send you one.

I WAS CHARGING MY OUTSIDE CAMERA AND LOST THE MAGNET SOMEHOW. DO YOU HAVE REPLACEMENT MAGNETS?
