Why is SimpliSafe® changing their monitoring plan prices?
We do our best to keep our prices stable and only make modest changes when truly necessary to continue investing to provide you with the best possible experience and security. Keeping our customers safe and making that safety as accessible as possible is our priority.
We have been a leader in disrupting and broadening access in the home security industry, introducing security innovation while maintaining accessible professional monitoring rates. In keeping with this, we will always strive to provide value for our customers while providing affordable and transparent pricing.
What monitoring plans are offered today and what’s changing?
Core Business
Advanced professional monitoring with optional intruder intervention, video verification, camera recordings and new multi-camera live streaming (in Beta). Also offers up to 10 PINs and expanded user roles, giving business owners more control over employee access and permissions. Our most comprehensive protection for the inside of your home for a great price! As of October 15, 2025, Core Business is priced at $34.99/month.
Pro Business
The Core Business plan plus overnight Active Guard Outdoor Protection. A double layer of overnight protection designed to proactively prevent crime before it happens. Includes full camera and app functionality. $69.99/month.
Pro Plus Business
The Core plan plus 24/7 Active Guard Outdoor Protection. Day and night, get a double layer of outdoor protection designed to proactively prevent crime before it happens. Includes full camera and app functionality. $99.99/month.
Standard Business
Our lower-priced, more limited professional monitoring plan option with up to 10 PINs and expanded user roles, giving business owners more control over employee access and permissions. It provides basic professional monitoring, but does not include a number of our best-in-class security features that are included in the Core plan such as camera recordings, intruder intervention, video verification for priority dispatch, advanced app features, etc. As of October 15, 2025, Standard Monitoring is priced at $24.99/month.
For customers who do not want professional monitoring at this time, we also offer the Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings plan for $9.99/month.
This plan provides camera recording storage, but no access to professional monitoring for emergency dispatch. This means you’ll need to call for emergency assistance on your own.
Will all of my plans receive a price increase if I have multiple monitoring subscriptions?
If you have multiple monitoring plans, you will receive one email notifying you of the price increase to each of your plans. SimpliSafe® will not increase the prices of any plans without an email notice to inform you of any price change.

How can I switch plans?
Call us at 1-888-783-8441 or reach out via chat if you would like to switch plans. One of our agents will be happy to assist you.
How can I cancel my monitoring subscription?
If you would like to cancel your subscription, you can call our Customer Service team at 1-888-783-8441 or reach out via chat. Your safety is our top priority, so our team will verify your Safe Word to ensure that this cancellation is authentic, and then make the changes to your account. If you ever change your mind, you can always resubscribe to any of our monitoring plans.
