If you are subscribed to our $17.99 Standard Monitoring plan or our $27.99 Interactive Monitoring plan, your Base Station will be able to connect to a built-in cellular backup rather than WiFi. However, if you want to add any cameras to your system they do require a WiFi connection to function, and system firmware updates require WiFi as well.
