Unlinking Keypad?

Anyone know how to unlink a keypad to the base station?

I've got an extra keypad which was linked to an failed basestation.

I've got a new base station that came with a keypad.  How can I unlink a keypad from a base station so that I can add it to the other base station?  The base stations are the same 3rd gen version.

The extra keypad keeps saying "keypad out of range. press any key to tray and reconnect to the base station."  Whenever I push a button, it says "connecting to base station".  Can't get it to go to menu.

cheers

Usually if you just pull a battery out of the keypad and reinstall it it will find the new base station, i can yake my keypad and take it to your house and pull a battery reinstall and it will connect to your system or it should. But try doing it right next to the base station and see what that does

You don't need to unlink it if the old base is non-functional (well, actually, you can't since that link is IN the base).  If the old base is functional, you can delete the keypad using the online dashboard (if it is monitored on the interactive plan) or the setup wizard in the USB in the master remote (SS2) or via the keypad (SS3).

So you went in to the Devices section of the website / app, found the old keypad, and deleted it, then hit Save, and that didn't delete it?
