Keypad Alpha password entry

I know this is going to be a 'well-duuh' on my part, but how in the devil do you get the keypad to select Alpha instead of Numerals?

Yep- it WAS 'well-duuh' but selecting/sorting alphas and symbols foments simple passwords ;)
