No longer getting Doorbell Chime on my phone
My phone used to chime when doorbell rang. Not anymore.
Anyone else with this problem?
I am hearing impaired and miss this function, especially if I am on back patio.

@Pdohertymom hello. Are you still seeing the notification still show up?
I see that you originally posted this comment in reply to another user with iOS, so I'm assuming you're on an iPhone/iPad as well. But it would help to know the exact model, in case we need to test.

@Pdohertymom just so I'm clear, do you still see a popup notification on your phone? And do you still see the event show up on the SimpliSafe app's timeline?
@Lsp999 I would ask the same question for you as well.
If you're not seeing the event on the Timeline, that points to a connectivity issue; i.e. your Video Doorbell might be having WiFi trouble. So we should troubleshoot that.
And if you are seeing the event on your Timeline, the next question is, do you get phone popup/notification for other events? For example, arming or disarming your system. If not, the problem might be that Push Notifications are not showing up at all, and we'd have to troubleshoot that instead.

I can set alarm from phone. Time line shows when someone rings doorbell.
the only notification on my phone is a numeral next to SimpliSafe app.

Yes, very disappointing... can't tell the difference between someone ringing the doorbell and all sort of much less important alerts. Leaving Simplisafe after over 10 years and going to Ring

I am having the same problem with my new iphone 15 pro. I worked fine on my iphone 12 pro.
I am getting the VISUAL ding-dong notification WITHOUT ANY SOUND but it does vibrate which doesn't help me. I have deleted the app, re-installed it. Toggled the doorbell notification setting, saving between each. I have fully shutdown the iphone and then started it. I am hard of hearing and I need to hear the sound because my hearing aids are connected to the iphone via bluetooth.

@davey_d Are you guys going to change your camera notification sound back to the way it used to be when someone rings the door bell? The notification now sounds like EVERY SINGLE OTHER notification my iPhone makes, including MY CAT TAKING A POOP! When I am out on the porch I cn'at tell the camera and door bell from any other notification, and on TOP of that, you app SUCKS when trying to speak to them! I have fiber and top speeds all through our house (Erros) and your door bell camera STILL takes forever to connect, and it doesn't even notify when someone is walking up!
Don't worry about responding... I have spent hours with your chat techs and they are clueless, too. Or they tell me that there are no plans to change the notify sounds. So i am leaving, the hundreds of other customers I see on here! If i treated my customers the way yo people do, I would be out of business in weeks!
