lost security screw for video doorbell

is there anyway to get a replacement security screw for the video doorbell?  It appears I threw mine out with the packaging after I had installed my simplisafe video doorbell.  I didn't think about the security screw while I was installing the device.

If you contact customer support, they should be able to take care of you.

Hi williams.cynthia76,

mdolfan is correct, our Support team at 800-548-9508 can take care of you. Sadly we don't have a way to replace individual spare parts like that, but we can send you a whole replacement Video Doorbell, and you can just send back what you don't need.

SS wanted me to pay more than $3.00 to ship a set screw!!  Size you need is M3-0.5 x 8mm, which is a metric size

The little plastic screw driver came apart when i was tightening up the set screw.  It was a little hard to get in.   Do you know the size of screwdriver, and head type for the set screw so that I can get one?  Would support be able to provide that for me along with a new set screw?

One other question, does the Video Doorbell pro keep charged from the current from the doorbell, or is it necessary to take it off from time to time and charge it, like I had to do when I received the door bell.

@stevebowers59 The Video Doorbell uses a T5 (.005"/1.42mm) Torx screwdriver and screws. If you contact our Support team, they'll be able to send you a new screw set.

Also, your wired/analog doorbell will keep your Video Doorbell charged - you won't need to unmount and charge it.

After mounting my doorbell, I noticed a blurry section of the picture. After checking the camera I found a scratch on the plastic lens. Is there any way this can be replaced?

@Krumreis If its new (which it sounds from your post) just pick up the phone and call support. They will replace it at nc under the warranty.
