None of our current cameras - the Video Doorbell Pro, the Wireless Outdoor Camera, and the SimpliCam Indoor Camera - are capable of local video storage. We'll keep you in the loop if we have news of further product releases.

in an area that gets frequent power outages during storms (too many trees) and that would be a welcome feature. I’m sure I’m not alone in that sentiment. And most of your competitors have cameras with local storage, so it is quite tempting the change monitoring services…
@nstrong we do have a thread about this on our dedicated Product Requests section. As of right now, we have no plans to come out with a camera that offers onboard storage.
Our cameras are really intended as an extension of the complete home security system - especially the 24/7 dispatch and visual verification of actual emergencies. So our cameras are build around connectivity and live response, rather than surveillance. Our strategy is likely to stay on this course for the foreseeable future.
