SimpliSafe App not Appearing in IOS Notifications

I just installed my new Video Doorbell Pro today but am not receiving any notifications when the doorbell rings or motion is detected.  I've followed all instructions...deleted the SS app and reinstalled it, verified notifications are turned on in the app but it is still not listed in IOS under the notifications section.  Anyone know how to resolve this?  Otherwise, this is nothing more than an overpriced doorbell.

It sounds like the SimpliSafe app hasn't requested permission from the phone to post notifications. Since uninstalling and reinstalling the SimpliSafe app didn't do the trick, try giving our Support Team a call as they'll be able to help you get this working. Hmmm...didn't know that you can only get notifications on your phone if you sign up for monitoring services.  Good to know that I do indeed have an overpriced doorbell.

You actually do not need to have monitoring to receive Push Notifications from either the SimpliCam or the Video Doorbell Pro. If you would like to receive Push Notifications for the All-New SimpliSafe system, then you would need to sign up for the Interactive Monitoring plan, however, Push Notifications are included at no additional charge for any of our SimpliSafe cameras.
