No log-in verification

SS, is this an issue, or are you just in another period of time where you can't make up your mind re: verification or 2FA or whatever you call it?

Logging in to the forum today, resulted in NO email verification request.  Using drop-down menu from forum to access Account, resulted in NO email verification request.

No, this is not a pc cache or session issue, it's on YOUR end.

@ coltmaster1 unless you clear your cache on the particular browser you use, once verified, the 2FA model/process used by SS as in many other sites do not require another verification. Note, that if you do change browsers, it will kick off another verification process. Mine is working as designed.

Captain, the log-in has been an issue for several users (I posted it here a couple months ago) - they denied it was a problem, I went back and forth with them for almost a month, and no resolve - they finally admitted there was an issue, but they're not willing to fix it.

The problem (for some users, which makes it even more of a problem because it should always be consistent among all users), is that they have a different script/app for log-ins on several pages of their site (including the forum), nothing is consistent, and having to log in twice between the forum and the online dashboard, and back again etc - it really is a mess and doesn't take a rocket scientist to discover the issue and create a fix.

And unfortunately, it doesn't matter if one clears or does not clear the browser cache, the same issue remains.  Yesterday, after the implementation several months ago of the new log-in, was the first time that it did not require verification, I already had my browser cache cleared beforehand.  And go figure, this morning, logging in required email verification.  Nothing changes on my end, it's theirs and they know it.

@ coltmaster1 I don't think SS did it the best, consistent way, but at least for me, the pattern works consistently.  Different pathways but for each they seem stable.  Question: do ever use a VPN?

No VPN.  I've already given SS (multiple times, mind you), all the info they needed to reproduce the issue, and have changed browser settings according to what they "think" they should be.  They ("gasp") at one point, as usual, love to blame Firefox, yet they refuse to make all site pages browser compatible - it's not solely an FF issue, it occurs on Edge as well.  It is inconsistent, and they know other users are having the same issue.

The archecteurre used by SS is overly complex and not well designed, especially the separate log ins for the forums and the main site causing much of the issues. Having to re authorize based on which browser you use is ridiculous too.  Many sites only require for you to do it once and done...that is until you delete the identifying code on your computer and then have to do it over.  Like I said, not well designed; simple is best.
