IOS update 2300.26.0

Hello, I’m experiencing a significant issue with the new iOS update 2300.26.0. After updating the app to this version, I noticed that my outdoor cameras are no longer loading, this has been happening for days, while my doorbell works fine. The cameras attempt to load, but the app freezes, requiring me to force close it. However, all of my cameras load correctly on the SimpliSafe website, including notifications and other features. I’ve tried deleting the app and called “support,” but this hasn’t resolved the issue. I’m curious to know how SimpliSafe can see this problem since it also records the camera’s history, indicating that the cameras are functioning normally.

@carsondreed7 We released a new update to the iOS app this week - version 2300.27.0. When you see this update available, could you please download it and let us know if you continue to experience this?

Interesting I don't see the option to update to   2300.27.0 on the IOS App Store. Says the latest is 2300.26.0 

Ive restarted the camera and factory reset and deleted the app multiple times and nothing.

hopefully I can update soon.

@carsondreed7 App updates slowly roll out to all users in the App Store. If you do not see the update available right now, you should see it soon.

 

It may also help to search for the SimpliSafe app in the App Store, tap on the icon, and see if the update is available there.

What version of iOS are you using?  I'm on 18.3.2.  I had to restart the phone and the App Store finally caught up to V2300.27.0.   Hate to say this, but Apple is beginning to be a lot like Microsoft lately.

You may consider waiting for an iOS X.X.X version in the future.  Seems like Apple releases Beta software in the iOS X or iOS X.X versions.  They are more concerned with AI and emojis than fixing bugs, e.g. Try a group text with Android users.  To make it work you have to turn on Data.
