Cannot use biometrics on Android for login
I don't get the prompt to use biometrics on my Google Pixel 6a Android 13 phone, so I have to use ID/password and the 2FA code. Does the Android app support biometric login? I do get the prompt when I log in to the web app on my computer, but that's odd useless because my PC doesn't have a fingerprint reader or retinal scanner.
How do we get it to work on Android?

@gdstuart I have a Pixel 6a, Android 13 and the SS app. In the past biometric didn't work well but now it is spot on. Yes, it does support it but the implementation is a bit wonky. Suggest you unistall and do a clean re-install. Go in and set up your 4 digit code and once you do the app asks if you want to turn on biometric log in. Press yes and you are on your way.

Hi @gdstuart,
Biometric Authentication is available for Android users. In order to be eligible, your phone needs to support Face Unlock or Fingerprint. If your phone does have those two features, I would do exactly what Captain11 suggested, uninstall and reinstall the SimpliSafe app from your phone and then take the following steps to set up Biometric Authentication:
Select the three-bar menu from the top left corner of the app
Choose Manage Account
Next, choose Multi-factor Authentication
Then, you will be brought to the screen to manage your Multi-Factor Authentication log-in options - including Biometric Authentication.
You can learn more about Biometric Authentication in this Help Center article.
