Small magnets for sensors

Not sure this is the correct forum, but I need the small magnets for my door sensors.  I have one that was sent to me after I call for support on the initial install, but I need all my sensors to have the small magnet.  My door molding is very ornate and thick and I have had to tape the magnets on the molding and sometimes they fall off or the sensor does not register.  I've called the support numbers 888-910-1215 and 800-297-1605, no answer, on hold for 30+ minutes listening to music.  I'd like to order 7 of the small magnets.

Someone, please assist me.

I suggest offering the small magnets on initial or additional orders for sensors.

Hi Gary,

Unfortunately yes, our Support team is the way to go for those slim magnets. We're sorry for the wait times, but our Support team is working hard to take care of all of our customers ASAP. Thank you for your patience!

SO...did they ever figure out how to order/receive replacement magnets?

@awinn We do now sell entry sensor magnets online at the link here. Just choose your system and scroll down to the bottom and you should see them there. You can also contact our support team and place the order over the phone, should you prefer that route.

Did as you said. Clicked on HERE. Clicked on 3rd gen system, scrolled down and unable to see any sensor magnets listed for sale. Am I missing them?   Tks.

I see lots of people looking for magnets without the entire sensor. But they are not back on your website after a couple years and multiple forum threads asking about it. You used to sell them, I remember seeing them. I'm not calling customer service to soecial order what should be a simple $1 part. But I am going to remind you that you aren't addressing this need from your customers. We pay you a lot every month. The least you could do is put this cheap little part back on your website and let us pay you for it. I don't really understand why this is so hard.

I just tried to order some extra entry sensor magnets (small part) using chat.  The person on the other end could not understand what I was asking for and even suggested I send a photo.  How hard is it to understand you want to get extra magnets - the small part of an entry sensor?  When I asked where the chat person was located they answered Simplisafe Offshore in the Philippines.  Not at all helpful.. Gave up after 20 minutes.

I saved and successfully reused the magnets from the previous generation of entry sensors (the small narrow ones that easily fit on the upper sash of our double hung windows). It's amazing that SimpliSafe (a company with good products) doesn't recognize that the large magnet change is not adaptable to most double hung windows. So, apparently without being able to get the smaller magnets from SimpliSafe I'll try alternatives like the small magnets used on some refrigerator stick-ons.

I believe I got this link from another user here but I've tried these magnets and they work on double hung windows. No need to burden yourself depending on SS.

Thank you for the link. I'll save it. In the meantime I'm trying a few very small magnets I salvaged from used electric toothbush replaceable vibrating brush heads. They're so strong that it's somewhat difficult to pull them off my metal toolbox cover.
