Sensor Error: Entry Sensor "Front Door" is not responding

What about the sensor battery?
@geomel1994 If you receive a 'Sensor Not Responding' it could be due to a low battery in a sensor, or there might be a communication issue between that sensor and the Base Station. We have a help center article that can walk you through troubleshooting this, or I'd be more than happy to help you out here. Just let me know the details.
I have the same issue. Entered test mode and sensor responds when button is pressed. Base station announces it. When I open the door blue lights flash but nothing happens. Only on that sensor which is 8 feet from base station.
@ceslow you might be seeing something different, since pressing the button does successfully send a signal.
You said that you're definitely seeing the lights when you open and close? You should be seeing one flash for open, two flashes for closed. My first thought is that the sensor and magnet might be a bit misaligned so it's not sending the right signal.
If you like, you can share a picture of the sensor here, and that can help us see what's going on.
@davey_d Years ago customers (like me) requested chat video with support for situations just like this. Between iOS facetime and Android Meet I would think this could be easily done quickly to the benefit of all. Then again, I thought gift cards were a no brainer years ago but, alas, here we are.
Still, Simplisafe the best overall value and effective solution out there.
