Do I need an Entry Sensor for my Smart Lock to work?
No. All features will still work without an entry sensor. However, the auto-lock feature will be “smarter” with a paired entry sensor. The entry sensor tells your Lock when the door is open, preventing the Lock from trying to “lock” your door even when it’s open. We still recommend pairing an entry

What happens if the Smart Lock loses power? Am I locked out?
Your Smart Lock will give you low-battery warnings for multiple weeks before it loses power. However, if your Smart Lock dies entirely before you can replace your batteries, your key will still work.
