The Extra Siren takes four (4) AA Alkaline batteries and has a life expectancy of up to 1 year depending on placement and usage.To change your Extra Siren batteries, slide the device up and off its bracket. Then, unscrew the back panel to reveal and replace the four (4) AA batteries underneath.
