In case of an emergency, hold down the red panic button on your Key Fob for 2 seconds and then release. The proper authorities will be notified.
Your Key Fob also can arm and disarm your system when within range of your Base Station by pressing the OFF, HOME, or AWAY buttons.
Naming Your Key Fob
You have the option to name your Key Fob during installation, however if you prefer to name your Key Fob(s) after installation you can do so by re-entering the Setup and Naming mode within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App.
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Choose My System from the bottom navigation bar
Select Device Settings
Scroll to Key Fob and tap on the Key Fob you wish to manage
Tap on the name of your Key Fob
Choose a name from the preset list, or scroll down and select Custom Name to enter your own name
Your new name will automatically save when selecting it from the preset list. For custom names, choose Save or Send to Base to update the name of the Key Fob on your system
We recommend putting the Key Fob on a keychain you carry, so that you can use it as a remote method of arming and disarming your system.
The battery in the Key Fob is not replaceable. Should you require assistance with a Key Fob that is no longer operable, please contact our support team.
