The Gen 3 SimpliSafe is our upgraded DIY security system, with new features added to provide homeowners with peace of mind. This third-generation of our security system is WiFi compatible, has more than double the components of the Original SimpliSafe, and can send signals up to 800 feet away from the Base Station. The revamped design of our latest SimpliSafe system makes it easier to blend in with your home. We are consistently providing updates to ensure your system is always prepared.
With a cellular connection to our monitoring center and 24-hour backup batteries, our latest SimpliSafe ensures you’re always protected, even if you lose power. You can also connect your system to WiFi as a supplementary second communication channel. This WiFi connection will allow you to manually update your Base Station and Keypad when updates are available.
24/7 Professional Monitoring
We strongly recommend that you subscribe your system to professional monitoring. SimpliSafe has six monitoring centers around the nation that are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—so you can be confident whether you are at work or going to sleep that your home is protected. With interactive professional monitoring, you can choose to be notified immediately via email, text message, and smartphone push notifications for any events your system detects.

A range of settings to personalize your system
You can change your system-wide and device settings through your Keypad’s menu. Interactive Plan users can also control their system through the SimpliSafe mobile app. Settings range from the type and frequency of notifications you receive, alert volume, device sensitivity, and more!
If you have already purchased our latest SimpliSafe please visit this page for help installing your system. Once installed, you can use your Keypad to test your system. After your system has completed test mode, you will be able to subscribe your system to professional monitoring.
