Suboptimal Battery Life for Sirens

Not a huge deal, but battery (4 x AA) life for the SimpliSafe sirens is not great, averaging about 2-3 months for 3 different sirens.

Spent some time trying to troubleshoot this over the last 3 years. Some help guys suggested they were too far from the base station, but they were only a room or two away (and lots of other working sensors are much further away). SimpliSafe thot I might have a lemon so nicely sent out a new one ~1 year ago, but that also has required 5 battery changes in a year. So I think it is a design flaw. But with good batteries the system otherwise works OK. So just a "heads up" to folks.
