Suggestions for future devices

Suggestions for new devices: 1) a contact closure device which could be remotely mounted and triggered like the aux siren when there is an alarm, 2) a contact closure sensor which could trigger an alarm when shorted or opened (configurable), 3) a specially purposed medical alert pendant or 'wristwatch' for use while in range of base station (I.e., while working outside, in basement or in garage).

Whadaya think?

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll be glad to pass them on to our development team.

Regarding the third point: Though it's not quite a pendant, are you aware that the Panic Button on the KeyFob can also be set to Medical alerts? It would still go to the Monitoring Service, so you'll need to be near your phone to respond. But like a Panic Button for police, the operator will still call for EMS if you are unable to answer.

I agree with Johnny.  SimpliSafe needs to also accommodate a way to signal EMS.  For older users this would be a big advantage over the current system where you have to talk to a phone.  In the case of stroke or being unable to talk one could still get help and users wouldn't have to subscribe to an additional Medic alert system.
