More specifically, a specific process used at their monitoring center is now UL certified.

Per https://productiq.ulprospector.com/en/search?term=simplisafe I see two listings for SimpliSafe in the UL database. One is for "Alarm Validation Scoring" (which is what the article you linked is about) and the other is for "Monitoring Stations, Residential" but I can't see any details about what that covers.

I also checked for ETL validation at https://ramuk.intertekconnect.com/webclients/its/dlp/products.nsf/$$search?openform and found many more entries.
