Smoke detector
Does Simplisafe need to be set to home or away mode for smoke detector to be monitored? I do not have any other devices or security alarm set up, only the smoke/co detectors. Thanks!

As long as the base station and keypad is up and running it should still work, even if you have no other sensors as long as the smoke detector is hooked up to base station.

@longwoodmotors The Smoke Detector is actively monitored at all times, no matter the armed mode of your system. As Lance843 mentioned, as long as the Base Station is running, it will send a signal if the Smoke Detector goes off.
