CO detector showing malfunction

CO detector showing malfunction - started showing that status all of a sudden. How do I fix this?

First step is to take it off the bracket, check the battery is good or just replace it, and return it to the bracket, making sure it is fully seated (there is a bump you have to get past in order for the "tamper switch" to be depressed.

Otherwise, call SS for help debugging.
