Do you have to install the outside keypad in order to lock/unlock the deadbolt?
Do you have to install the outside keypad in order to lock/unlock the deadbolt? I'd rather not have the keypad and just use my phone app/key fob to lock and unlock the door. With it being installed using adhesive I am a little concerned with it being taken off. Thank you for the help!

You don't need to install the PIN Pad outside, no. We would still recommend it, though. If WiFi/cell is unavailable, your Base Station may not be able to receive commands from the app.
But since the PIN Pad uses local wireless, and not WiFi, you'll still be able to use it to unlock your door.
