Urgent! Asking again, please, for a smarter outdoor camera.

I and others have raised this request before, but I must ask again. The outdoor camera is essentially worthless to me without the option to ignore activity - or at least stop sending notifications - except when the system is 'Home' or 'Away'. I'm no developer, but this doesn't seem like a terribly complicated feature to add.

Summer is almost here. My family and I use our backyard throughout the day, and I really don't appreciate dings every time my kids run past the camera (not to mention the battery drain). It has already gotten to the point that I have turned notifications off entirely, effectively rendering it a wasted $175.

Summer is also the time of year when, in the urban area where I live, crime spikes. Having an outdoor camera will go a long way toward making us feel secure at night and when we're out of town. If that isn't possible very soon, I might need to look into a more customizable system - and I don't want to do that!
