Having Videos Show Up in Notifications

Just wonder why SimpliSafe Videos don't show as .gif or .jpg as thumbnails on phone notifications. They seem to come in handy especially when wearing a smart device.

Right now, when I get a camera notification of my phone I have to select the notification to view the footage. I think that small snippet come be helpful.
