Custom Base Station LED Colors

I'd love to be able to select the colour of the LED strip on the base station when in armed mode.

We set ours to "Home" mode at night, and the white/blue-ish light is really bright. It would be great to be able to select e.g. red as the armed LED colour..much easier on the eyes at night.

Hardware is there (lights up red if there's a connection error etc)...just needs software implementation.

Hi,

Thanks for the great suggestion! We might run into difficulty because, as you already mentioned, we do use different colors of light to indicate status - for example, a pulsing red light does indicate a general system error (check your Keypad screen for details).

But we'll let our engineers know that you're looking for the feature.

Hi Johnny,

Thanks for the reply, of course red is already used for connection error...but as you say that is a flashing light.
Maybe the base station could announce "user specified nightlight" upon arming or something, so people don't forget they have customised the light.

^ LOL!  I don't know though.  I'm going to need to see a few more useful responses before I start believing. :)

^ ROTFLMAO!  (to Johnny's credit though, he's the only one in a very long time who has made the effort, so thanks, Johnny)
