What do we do when Gen 2 parts stop working?

What do we do when Gen 2 parts stop working? Both of my keypads stopped working at the same time. I don't understand how that's possible but I can't get them functioning again. I upgraded the module also when I was notified, if you need that information. Instead of replacing both keypads, I'd be content just getting one new one. Is that possible?

Hi @harrisoncreative1 ,

Since we're four years into the Gen 3 era, we have unfortunately had to cease manufacturing new components for the SimpliSafe Original. That means 'brand new' parts are either in extremely low supply or completely out of stock.

That being said, we're more than happy to continue troubleshooting. The cell module affects only the communication between the Base Station and Monitoring, so that wouldn't affect your Keypads. Are you seeing any error messages on the Keypad, or are they completely dead? A bit more info can help us pinpoint the cause of the issue, so we might be able to get your system back up and running without the need for replacement.
