New equipment! Unable to remove the battery compartment. After removing the retaining screw, I am unable to pry loose the cover. Believe it to be hinged opposite the screw but the cover will not separate.

@johnp7376 Not hindged, it moves in circular fashion. When it doubt, call support and they will walk you through.

Hi @captain11 ,
The Captain is correct. You first want to twist the be whole bottom counter-clockwise, then you can pull it away. Follow this link to see what that looks like.
