Upgrade Cell Module

Question

When I upgraded the cell module my system lost all my devices, including the Keypad.  I then had to add them just as with a new system.  Thought Simplisafe and others might run tinto the same issue/problem.  Correcting the issue is not difficult, it was determining the issue and solution that was troublesome.

@johnp5 While the upgrade is definitely good (going from 2G to 4G for much faster and better connectivity for the base to the cell network) you should not have lost your sensor settings.  I put my new module in and lost nothing. If SS gave you that as an explanation, I would ask again.

Indeed. I think I was one of the early adopters for the LTE module in my two SS2 systems. Lost no settings, but it took me a while to convince SS the SIMs were not properly activated and to get someone on the line that actually saw that and fixed it.
