Keypad failing to disarm
I have two keypads, both less than a year old (one is just a few months old). I use one keypad daily and the other just a time or two per month. The one I use most has an issue, described below, that has happened six to eight times, only in the last couple of months. The lesser used one just did it today.
When I enter the home, the alarm is active and I go to the keypad to disarm the system. I press each digit and the keypad chirps for each button press. Then I realize that the alarm is still active and there are only 3 "stars" on the display.
At that point, time is running out and I have to quickly press OFF and the same digits. Then the system is disarmed.
I have caught the display showing too few stars partway through, but I'm not certain as to which digit didn't register.
This is a real pain. It seems like a software/firmware or communication issue that is fairly recent. Note that both keypads are within 20 feet of the base station.

Having the same problem every once in a while. Walk in the home and pushed the pin and still keeps chirping like I never did anything. I would do what I did and reboot the base station by unplugging it and pull battery out wait a few minutes then reinstall all back. Then make sure you have new batteries in keypads and if so just take batteries out and wait a few then put back in and let it all reconnect and see if that will solve anything.

It happened again tonight and I was paying close attention. At least this time, it was the first digit that failed to "take" despite the confirmation "chirp".

Hey @jone0c579 thank you so much for sharing this! I want to make sure I am understanding the failing on the Keypad.
For example if your pin is 3456 the Keypad is only letting you enter in 345, but you do hear the beep for the 4th press?
It's happening on 1 of your two keypads as well? If that is the case if a power cycle doesn't fix it I would contact support for a warranty exchange for that unit. The Keypad no longer has firmware updates so there is nothing that can be pushed to it.
