Keypad constantly turning off

My keypad is constantly turning off. I have to remove a battery to bring it back to life. I've tried multiple sets of new batteries and I also moved the base station a few feet from the keypad, but nothing works. I replaced the batteries yesterday and I got up this morning to a dead keypad. I had to remove one of the batteries to get it to boot up. This is happening almost everyday now. It's so bad I don't trust using it now. I try to remember to disarm the alarm using the phone app, because we have set off the alarm multiple times trying to use the keypad only to find it dead.

@danny_59b32e Sounds like a defective keypad. Call support and have it replaced at nc if under 3 years old or if you are on the 27.99 monitoroing plan and its older than me....and that's old. :-)

Hi @danny_59b32e, welcome to the community.

Thanks for taking those steps to change out the batteries. It definitely sounds like there is something going on with the KeyPad and it might need replacing. The best option here would be to contact our support team and let them know the steps you've taken so far. Our contact information can be found here.

I am having this same problem and bought another keypad a week ago and this one is having the same issues. The keypad location has been fine for around 4 years now and this just started. Not sure what is going on, I called support and they had me reset the keypad by removing the batteries and will call again tomorrow.

Hey @lonnieparker39 thanks for bringing this to our attention!

I know this was a couple of days ago, but wanted to see how things were looking now?
