Simplisafe replaced my new, non-working smart lock with a refurbished one

When I saw Simplisafe was sending a refurbished one, I contacted customer service and said that new should be replaced with new, but I was still sent a refurbished one....it was in used condition with used batteries and no battery strip pull (that would have shown that batteries were new and replaced).

Several alarm components I received with my initial equipment order arrived with the seal being broken.  

I think the Simplisafe System is superior in many ways, but as I don't like receiving used/refurbished when it should be new made me decide to send it all back.  Simplisafe customer service does not get it!
