Installation Techs.
just installed the nice security system at my 90 year old mother's. The installation techs installed cameras outdoors and then told her it would cost another $350 to purchase the equipment to make the wifi connection. They were annoyed when we requested they simply move the camera to a location where the wifi reached. They installed the front cameras to get a great view of the cars driving down the street, but cannot see anyone coming to the front door. One of the cameras wouldn't charge, and the techs said it should be ok in a few hours, but just got notification that camera died. I contacted Simplisafe and they are sending a new one. Had to schedule new installation techs for next week, to reinstall the cameras at more efficient locations, and replace the camera that does not work. Has anyone else had this type of issue with the installations?
