How about a new forum Road Map?
My overall impression of the new community site is favorable: it has some nice tools, a good structure and is vast....in fact, possbily a bit too vast. Some of the features (like a member list) is lacking and the leaderboard has to fill in for now, okay (thanks Davey btw) but what is needed is a good old organizational chart.
Here's my request now that I clicked on the "Ask a question" button....Davey, please create a flow diagram of the overall organization layout of the site. One can be for the community site overall, one for the support area, one for help center etc etc. I can then print it out as an aide until I can explore and meander (uh, replace that with navigate) the site without it. Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback, folks. One of the biggest benefits of this new platform is actually beneath the surface;
we now have the tools to really customize this place to fit our needs as a community. And your input on how you use the site will help us immensely, so keep 'em coming!
And Captain,
Sounds like you're asking about a site map, vs. a road map - which would be a timeline of upcoming products (which, as you know, we prefer to keep tight-lipped about until they're ready). Does this help?
As for a member list - the leaderboard is essentially it. It should already include everyone who's posted in the last three years, since those are the posts that were ported over.

You might (or might not) find this helpful.

It is sort of hidden in a banner.
I really think this is a little too far from forum and closer to some social media platform... I much prefer a simple table layout like offered by most forum software where you can see forum headings and sub forums...
Here you have to click on one of the circle buttons to figure out what other circle buttons are in there... and on top of that we've spun the marketing and corporate lingo into the circle buttons... It seems like KISS has left the building.
At least it still has a bread crum trail.
Oh well ... guess I'll shut up now...

As stated before, one only has to really scroll the main forum index page, to see the last posts - and if you hover your mouse over the post topics, you'll see which forum category it was posted to.
I don't care much for the new platform either, (or ranking/number of posts/perks for posting/helping, etc), but it is what it is, and maybe when we all get used to it, we'll forget these early impressions :) - let's all remember, we now have a SEARCH FUNCTION!
P.S., Davey D, can we get those emoticons I asked about earlier?

Clearly I've been gone for too long... quite an improvement from what I last remember! Good to see all the usual "faces" still here!
