Consumer Reports: Video Camera Reviews

Consumer Reports is an information resource I have relied on for many years, even before the internet, with the eagerly awaited monthly print magazine.  Just out: their review of video doorbells and the SS entry comes in near the top. Video quality and data security are rated highly, but speed from doorbell push to live streaming, not so much.  In my experience, the Doorbell Pro has improved since its initial release that the time elapsed to live stream, like that of the Simplicam, has greatly improved and, in my humble opinion, works fine, at least for my WIFI and home environment.   For the outdoor camera, however, the boot up time to live stream, while improved since release, is still way too slow and frustrating to use.
