Poor to non-existent audio from SimpliSafe doorbell camera

I recently purchased a SimpliSafe doorbell camera and the two-way audio is not working. I can hear random static like it is trying to get it across but with no success. I've made sure I have adequate bandwidth and WiFi signal and still no luck. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Same issue- on 2nd unit. The tech was very nice today- says it needs updated firmware and this should automatically happen w/in 24-48 hours.  Fingers crossed as we love the system and really want to be able to communicate on the doorbell.

Be patient.  The problem will resolve itself.   Like others in this thread, I experienced the same garbled, audio problem.  I read a from another user somewhere else on the internet (sorry, can't remember where) that the problem would resolve itself within 24 hours.  Sure enough, the next day, the mic & audio worked perfectly both ways.

3 year old posts? This issue has never been solved!!  I have had my system only about a month or so. Neither my outdoor camera, nor my video doorbell, will allow me to hear ANYTHING from anybody on the other side of the camera. I have "Good" signal strength. Pretty much useless.
